The 2008 National Championship Tournament will be held April 25-27,2008 at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
Sixteen teams will compete: the 15 Regional Champions and a Wild Card team (selected at random among the 2nd place Regional teams).
The main tournament is a full round robin (each team plays every other team). Round robin games will be played all day Saturday. The NCT playoff is a 4-team double-elimination and will be held on Sunday. Check out the game schedule here.
Every year, the top 8 players are named All-Stars and the tournament officials select a player to receive the Pat Moonen Sportsperson Award. In addition, at the closing awards ceremony, humorous awards are made to recognize some of the lighter moments during the tournament. Each participating team and the national pool of volunteers are asked to bring one or more XL sweathshirt from their campus to be used for this purpose.
